Author Spotlight

James Glass achieved the rank of a Master Chief Petty Officer after serving 22 years in the United States Navy, including two tours in Iraq. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and the Command Master Chief School. This is his first book. Glass was born in Pensacola, Florida and enlisted in the Navy in 1989. He completed tours aboard the USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), USS Yosemite (AD 19), USS Monterey (CG 61), and USS Thomas S. Gates (CG 51). He also completed tours at Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity, Mayport, Florida; Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine; and Mobile Security Detachment Two-three in Portsmouth, Virginia. Finally, James had the honor of completing two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After retiring from the Navy, he and his family moved back to Florida. Heís been married for 22 years and has two children. James has a bachelorís in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University.
