Marc CB Maxwell, originally from Corpus Christi, Texas currently resides in Wiesbaden, Germany. He is a Department of Defense Guidance Counselor who works with deployed personnel and their families on a daily basis.

Maxwell, an avid sports fan, award winning author, and current Ph.D. student at the University of Oklahoma, played basketball at Cornell College of Iowa where he helped lead his club to a Midwest Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and a trip to the NCAA Division III National Tournament. He was also featured on ABC's Good Morning America in high school for tossing in a last second 70-foot shot during his freshman season that helped his team to the State Tournament in Texas.

Maxwell holds a Bachelor's degree from Cornell College and a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and is a former Army Airborne Ranger. He has been awarded numerous medals including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He has combined his love of the military and his passion for sports to co-author and author the Sports by the Numbers™ series and Surviving Military Separation: 365 Days (Savas Beatie 2007).

Maxwell is married to his wife of six years, Christine. They have one darling little girl named Meredith. The family is stationed overseas after a stint at Fort Lewis, WA.
