100: The program reached the century mark in victories (100) with a 31-0 victory against Grove City on October 2, 1909, and then won its 200th game just over 15 years later on October 9, 1926 against Marietta.
219: The Penn State record for number of first half passing yards (219) set by Mike McQueary against Wisconsin in 1997. McQueary finished the season with 2,211 yards on 146 of 255 passing, with 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
468: The total number of offensive yards (468) the Nittany Lions accumulated in the 1980 Fiesta Bowl. The offense totaled 22 first downs, but was penalized just twice for ten yards, in the victory over Ohio State.
654: The number of times (654) Tony Hunt's number was called during his workmanlike collegiate career. Hunt sported plenty of bumps and bruises in a four-year run through the record book that ended with 3,320 career rushing yards, the most rushing attempts in program history, and heaps of praise from coaches, players, and loyal Lion fans.
918: The number of total tackles (918) credited to the Penn State defense over the course of the 2005 season. Paul Posluszny's 116 tackles bested the safety duo of Chris Harrell (88) and Calvin Lowry (79).
