Happy (Morehouse) Monday, everyone! And happy holiday week!
First off, I would like to extend my thanks to all those who made it out to the Heritage Center this weekend in Gettysburg for the Remembrance Day events! It sounds like this year was one where they got the dry weather and attendance went up, so that was good news to walk into the office with. Hopefully you were able to meet some of our authors down there and get some signed books, but if not... don't fret! They left some signed copies behind! Head on down to the Heritage Center quickly before someone else snatches 'em up!
Secondly, if you're looking for something to be on the telly this week while you prep your feasts and possibly hide from the in-laws, C-SPAN is re-airing Janet Croon's talk on The War Outside My Window from her appearance at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library back in June TONIGHT at 10:30 pm (ET) on C-SPAN 3. Check it out if you haven't already, or check it out again if you really are needing to hide from the in-laws. (You can also view the talk here anytime.) Jan met a couple this weekend that had been waiting for an event they could attend since it originally aired. Clearly this is a compelling talk!
Finally, don't forget to rest on Black Friday, but hit the (main) streets on Saturday for Small Business Saturday! We do have a handful of authors who will be out and about signing books and hanging out at the local stores, so be sure to check our calendar and head on out to support this amazing tradition!
Til next week, y'all! Have an amazing holiday!
