Dear Savas Beatie readers,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my impending departure from the offices of Savas Beatie, LLC.
Nearly four years ago after having been out of work for nearly a year due to a medical issue, I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity that Ted gave me here. Truly, I was just hoping for a job that would help as I transitioned back into the real world, but I ended up coming away with so much more. In my role here at Savas Beatie, I've been given a creative freedom like nothing I've ever experienced in the work place. I have a lot of pride in what I've been able to contribute here as well as memories of having a ton of fun while doing it!
I've also met some truly amazing folks and seen some beautiful places. This job is solely responsible for my first and (so far) only trip to Georgia - a place that I honestly cannot wait to revisit and hopefully take my family to. My authors, office mates, and various venue and media contacts have all been so awesome that I will not be closing down my Savas Beatie Facebook page anytime soon, though I will more than likely not be as prolific as I have been in recent dates. Feel free to reach out and say hello at will. I would love nothing more.
To Ted, specifically, I do wish to extend my utmost appreciation for everything provided while in your employ. I have had many once-in-a-lifetime experiences while here and for that (and so much more), I will be forever grateful.
