Out of the Frying Pan and into the Torrential Downpour

Out of the Frying Pan and into the Torrential Downpour

I've always had some....... significant timing. Good or bad, but certainly never in between, and why should it start conforming now?

Like a lot of you, I'm keeping an eye on the weather this week. While it currently doesn't look like Georgia will feel the true brunt of Hurricane Florence, I'm concerned about Savannah and the other coastal towns. Please be safe out there, everyone! Batten down the hatches and leave when they advise you to leave. Hopefully I can bring some Cali sunshine to dry y'all out. I'm also not adverse to rolling up my sleeves and assisting in the cleanup. Whatever we can do to help!

We're continuing to fill those empty spots on Jan's The War Outside My Window tour in the meantime and I'm very happy to report that she'll be heading back to the Chickamauga Chattanooga National Military Park on the 18th from 11 am to 3 pm. Will I be there, too? Who knows...? Head on down to find your 'Where's Weirdo'... I mean... Waldo... pick up your signed copy or come get your previously bought copy signed and check out the battlefield while you're there! Jan's event there last time was such a success and Marie and the entire Chickamauga staff are so wonderful and enthusiastic - you're sure to have a great time.

Keep an eye on the Savas Beatie website for itinerary updates and keep an eye on my Facebook for picks of me on the road - Looking forward to it!
